Check only what you own or may check
Before running a check, you confirm that you own the app or have its owner's permission. Please don't use Pewterkit tools on other people's apps without that permission.
What a check does
- It reads public pages only: the same files any visitor's browser downloads.
- It makes plain read requests. It doesn't sign in, submit forms, guess passwords or try to get past any protection.
- Each tool's page says exactly what it reads, and how long a check can take.
- Our tools limit how many checks can be run per minute, so they can't be used to flood a site with requests.
What a check doesn't do
A check can't see private settings in your hosting, Google, Firebase or other accounts, and it doesn't replace a security review. Where a result can't be confirmed from outside, the result says so instead of guessing.
Not allowed
- Checking apps you don't own or aren't allowed to check.
- Automated or bulk use that tries to get around a tool's limits.
- Using a tool or its results to harass, mislead or attack anyone.
We may block use that breaks these rules.
