Who we are
Pewterkit tools are provided by K P Singampalle, trading as Pewterkit, a sole trader at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. Contact: support@pewterkit.com. We are not registered for VAT.
What Pewterkit tools do
Each Pewterkit tool runs a free, read-only check of an app's public pages and shows a result. Some tools also sell an optional digital product, such as a fix pack with step-by-step instructions for your setup.
A check reads what is publicly visible from outside. It cannot see private settings in your accounts, and it does not replace a security review or professional advice. Each tool's page and result say what it checks and, where we can't be sure, say so.
Using the tools
- Only check apps you own or have permission to check. See Responsible use.
- Don't try to overload, break or bypass the tools' limits, or use them to attack anyone.
- We may limit or block use that breaks these terms.
Buying a digital product
- Prices are one-time payments set in pounds sterling (GBP). Checkout may show the equivalent in your local currency. The price shown at checkout is the total you pay. Onelink (Link, LLC), Stripe's merchant-of-record service, sells the product to you as merchant of record and handles any tax due on it. We (the trader) are not registered for VAT. Each tool shows its price before you pay; there is no subscription.
- Payment is taken on Stripe's checkout page. Your receipt comes from Onelink, and your card statement shows ONELINK* followed by our name.
- Payments are processed by Link, LLC (Stripe Managed Payments), which is the seller of record and appears on checkout and card statements as Onelink / ONELINK* PEWTERKIT.COM.
- The product is delivered online straight after payment, on a page and by email.
- Before you pay, you tick one unticked box to agree to these Terms and to get the product immediately, and to confirm you understand that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once it is delivered. You can't pay without ticking it. This is how UK law treats digital content. Your order confirmation email repeats, in one line, that you agreed to immediate delivery and acknowledged losing the right to cancel. See Refunds.
- You may use what you buy for your own apps and your clients' apps. Please don't resell or republish it.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms affects your rights under UK consumer law. If digital content we supply is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, or in some cases a refund.
Our responsibility
We take reasonable care to make our checks and instructions accurate, based on our own tests. You stay responsible for the changes you make to your own app and accounts. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to £100. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes and availability
We may change or close a tool. If we close a tool, we will say so on its page. Products you have already bought stay covered by the terms in force when you bought them.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your home courts.
If something goes wrong, email support@pewterkit.com first. We will try to put it right.
